Richard is a filmmaker, animator, musician, actor, and writer. He is a recent graduate of Yale University having studied art and film.

Richard studied documentary filmmaking at Yale University. Upon graduating, he received the Howard Lamar Prize, Yale's top film award, and the Smith Arts Prize for his contributions to the undergraduate arts. Richard was also the Director of Programming of the Environmental Film Festival at Yale, and was recently selected for the prestigious IFP Marcie Bloom Fellowship in Film.

"Precious and Unseen" (2011) - 9 min. - Director, Editor

"Precious and Unseen" tells the story of Indigo Blue, the former Buddhist chaplaincy at Yale University. The film explores the environment that Indigo Blue created for students, as well as the inherent problems of sustaining a Buddhist organization at a large private American university. The film was featured in Film Threat and The Yale Herald.

"Life in My Kitchen / Hands" (2012) - 2 min. - Director, Editor

A story of an unexpected goldfish. The film was featured in the Boston Student Film Festival, selected as one of only twelve short films from all of New England to be screened.
